Sardar is the author of hundreds of articles on Kurdish literature and culture that have been published in Kurdish, Armenian and Russian periodicals. To date, Amarike Sardar has published 7 collections of his stories and stories. Of these, five are published in Kurdish: “Mother’s Hand”. (1974), “It Was Too Late” (1979), “The Voice of the Heart” (1985), “Our Village” (2006), “Thirst for Life” (2008), and two — in Russian: «Wedding played twice» (2005) and Until When? (2007). Now a new collection of works by Amarike Sardar (The Way of My Ancestors) is being prepared for publication in Russian. Sardar’s stories are included in Kurdish language textbooks, in collections of Kurdish poetry and prose “New Spring”, and also published abroad. Some works have been translated into Armenian.

Да, очень короткий рассказ. Он, собственно, был первый раз напечатан в газете.<br/>

It has a brief and poignant message, summing up Dick’s love of living things and his belief that human morality requires solidarity with both people and animals. Bedford saw the cat that accompanied him on his trip as first a play thing to help him survive the long trip. When he realizes that it has been messing with the controls, it becomes a nuisance that he removes. He is surprised to learn that his customers, the Meknosians, are more concerned for the cat than for the delivery of vaccine. They have the empathy for the cat that Bedford lacks. The aliens punish him by making him experience the two year trip with only the food and entertainment given a cat. We imagine that after two years, Bedford will be likely quite insane. If not, he will perhaps appreciate a bit more how enticing the controls will look after months of looking at the same cat toy and bad kibble.<br/>

Т.е. мекнозианцы наказали его за его отношение к коту тем, что обрекли его на двухлетнее существование без развлечений и на одной и той же кошачьей еде — то, на что был обречён кот, прежде чем стал играть с пультом управления.<br/>

Странно, но у меня возникла другая идея: сразу видно, что написано американцем! Если нет развлекательных кассет и возможностей создать кулинарное разнообразие, то делать нечего. Я бы искала завалявшийся учебник иностранного языка или математики, ведь можно приехать домой с новыми знаниями! <br/>

Согласна с тем, что в рассказе вывод не достаточно «выпячен», он как бы обрывается.
